Terms and Conditions:

Thank you for choosing us as your caterers, it is our pleasure to work with you on the day of your special occasion.

Our terms and conditions are below.

We require a 10-20% non-refundable security deposit to officially secure your date with us. The amount of this deposit will vary dependent on the event. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of catering your event and the balance is required to be paid in full 21 days before the event date. All deposits are non refundable. 

In the event that you fail to make the requisite payments to by the date required. We reserve the right to treat the event as having been cancelled by you, whereupon you will be notified in writing accordingly.

Variations to an invoice may arise where we conduct a site visit and there are not adequate facilities to have the service style or menu required, we will discuss this with you and any additional equipment or staff required will be added to your invoice.


All bookings are subject to a minimum number of guests. This will be discussed with you prior to you receiving an invoice.

We require access to venues we are required to cook onsite from by 10am. Client will make/pay for all necessary arrangements.

Written cancellation notice for all events are required at least one month prior to the event date.????

Final number of guests and any specific changes or requests made by client must be made no later than 1 month prior to the event date for weddings and 2 weeks for any other bookings. After final numbers have been provided we are happy to accept any increases in requirements however no reduction will be possible.

Should Nina’s Kitchen be advised of any increases following payment and less than two weeks prior to the event or on the day of the event, we reserve the right to accept these and will raise an additional invoice following the event for these guests or extras food needed, payment will then be due for immediate settlement by the Client.

Nina’s Kitchen hereby reserve the right to substitute items or make small adjustments to a menu should it become unavailable at time of purchase due to reasons out of our control. We will notify client at the earliest opportunity if time allows.

We will allocate up to a maximum of a 3 hour window time per any buffet serving for health and safety and food quality reasons.

Nina’s Kitchen will not offer any leftover food if the event location doesn't have adequate refrigeration facilities. Leftover food can only be taken by those who have arranged our service. Certain leftover foods may be out of the safe serving temperature and not safe for consumption. We never recommend serving/giving leftover foods to guests. The client will assume full responsibility of any incident that results in this taking place.

There will be an additional charge for any function running over previously discussed times that result in Nina’s Kitchen staff to remain after such hours at an hourly cost of £11 per hour per member of staff plus transportations costs.

Any taxi charges to transport staff home safely after 11pm will be passed on at cost. We endeavour to keep this to a minimum, but this is for the safety of our staff, many of whom are young and female.

Client acknowledges liability for damage to any rental equipment hired and used during the course of the event by themselves and guests, any relevant charges from said company will be charged accordingly and will require immediate settlement by the client.

In the unfortunate event of a booking having to be cancelled, written confirmation confirmed in writing will be needed by the Client. Your security deposit will be retained and the following charges will be incurred.

Cancellation received with less than two months notice prior to the event – 50% of total event cost.
Cancellation received less than one month prior to the event – 100% of the total event cost.
The total event cost will be based on the numbers of guests scheduled, at the agreed price per head.

Any additional costs incurred in preparation of the event up until the time of cancellation will be charged to the Client. This is to cover any losses caused for administration costs, travel, supplies etc. and will be discussed fully in event of cancellation.

In the event a dispute arises out of or in conjunction with this agreement, both parties will attempt to resolve the dispute through friendly consultation. Both parties involved agree not to post any negative information about the other arising out of this agreement on any online forum, website or social media page.

It is our desire to serve you promptly at the times you have selected. To ensure the highest possible quality of food and services your cooperation on the day is greatly appreciated. Should there be a delay to the food serving time, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make necessary arrangements. Should the quality of food decrease as a result of late ceremony timing’s etc we will not be held liable.

Due to the nature of our service, the food serving times/ delivery times can be delayed, this is something we do our best to prevent from happening however at times may be out of our control, should this occur we appreciate your understanding.

We endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than one month prior to the event).

By making a payment you agree to these terms and conditions.
